Thank you Mark for making this day so stimulating. It is a pleasure to have you as a facilitator. Thoroughly enjoyable with many practical exercises to adopt. The element of the program that I found most valuable was teaching us to be leaders of people rather than managers of process.
Mark was engaged to run a series of workshops that focused on developing managers. The workshop series was very successful, and Mark’s approach allowed participants to get involved in the discussion in a non-threatening environment and to discuss and reflect about some of the core issues we all experience when placed in leadership roles.
Mark’s facilitation style allows him to connect with every single person in the room, drawing upon his own experiences to communicate the facts in a personable and entertaining manner, while challenging us to approach change with different perspectives, to challenge ourselves and our own reactions to change. Mark’s approach to the workshop series was professional, enthusiastic and supportive. I was impressed by his ability to translate what he had learned about the company and its culture into the workshop in a seamless manner, increasing the meaning and the takeaways for all involved.
I have been so used to the “death by powerpoint” approach of so many trainers, Mark uses a wide range of interactive learning (electronic touchpads, role play, debate, games) to ensure there is never a dull moment. He addresses all learners by using differing styles of teaching which engages and challenges all participants. He also promotes application of what is learnt into the role, so he follows up what he has taught with post training dialogue with participants something no other trainer has ever undertaken. Mark demonstrates he is at the top end of professional educators by his impressive skills to ensure quality learning is occurring in his sessions. He researches his client’s needs and delivers the business solutions they require. He is passionate about his training and does not make it a one off day of learning, but follows up on the participants to ensure application occurs in the workplace, which is a first for any trainer I have engaged.
It is difficult to find a consultant who will deal with your people and organisational interests as though they themselves worked inside the organisation. Mark provides a depth of emotional intelligence and expertise that is supported by his experience and ability with people. His strengths are numerous in all areas of training and development.
Of particular note is the feedback from our own leaders Mark working with us on the implementation of our Management /Leadership training: ‘supportive with practical tools that we can use…..fantastic’.

Mark conducted some executive coaching with me to sharpen my leadership skills as a manager at Peter Mac Hospital. Mark designed and facilitated a range of leadership development programs that were critical in supporting B E Campbell’s mission of “Delivering Excellence in Customer Service”. The program content was relevant, flexible in its design, and designed to meet the learning needs of the participants. Mark followed up his training with ongoing communication to the participants in a post course coaching style. He uses a holistic approach to training in that he does believe the learning stays in the classroom but must be utilised by managers in their day to day roles.
